First look at Poker Tower Defense


Oh hello there, I've been working on a game incredibly slowly for the past few months. Largely because this is my first exposure to Unity and I wasn't incredibly familiar with C# but hey! So the game is (going to be) a clone of the Warcraft III mod, Poker Tower Defense. You're dealt a 5 card draw hand with one discard. The better your hand the better your tower. Place the tower and kill the creeps spawning. If you want to play what I've got of it so far you can snag a buggy build here:

There are a few known issues, but overall it should go through the desired gameplay loop. Check back from time to time, I'll try to update this build as I go along.
Goals: Audio, particle effects, better UI, enemy health, grid turret placement.
Stretch goals: Turret upgrades, "tipping" the dealer, tower special abilities.
Still have a road ahead of me, but maybe you'll enjoy wasting some time with this for now.
